Although the engine was rebuilt and mostly unused 40 years ago, we are just doing a few checks and some recovery work prior to running. The valve train illustrates the time consuming work of even simple fettling. There are 10 items in each follower and push rod assembly, each to have old wear and bruising oilstone dressed.
